The copywriting for Wall Street English is written in Indonesian and English as to cater to a wider market. The company aims to reach adults from as young as high school seniors to those who work in the corporate world. The company offers multiple services to aid the public in improving their English (from exposure to the language in a classroom setting to more specific services such as business and social outings), which means that the copywriting for each product needs to be specific in terms of vocabulary and tone.
My responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, creating all written content for their corporate website; assisting all departments with English proofreading; planning and copywriting for all marketing campaigns; and write media articles for the local press.
Wessex Garages' copywriting was more informative and professional as it catered to working adults and the elderly. The aim was to inform the general public the different products and services Wessex Garages provided, any promotions and offers, and boost sales.
On the other hand, the content written for UWE, TEDxBristol, and the Bath Spa organisations still had a professional flair to them, but bordered on semi-formal in terms of tone and language as the audience varied from teenagers to (young) adults, i.e. ages 18 to 35+. They were geared to be more inviting to said audience so they would get involved and contribute to the different causes and events held at the time.
